Next meeting (April 9)

We held elections yesterday, with the following results:

President: Stephen Cranney
Vice President: Laurel Cummins
Graphic Designer: Travis Washburn
Flyer Approval Coordinator: Liz Busby
Sergeant of Arms: Jeff Thayne

This is effectively immediately, with “immediately” being defined as sometime between now and spring term. :)

One final reminder: Dr. Miranda Wilcox of the English department will be giving a C.S. Lewis lecture at 7 p.m. in B037 JFSB. The title of Dr. Wilcox’s lecture is “C.S. Lewis: Professor of Medieval and Renaissance Literature.” Don’t miss it!

On a somewhat unrelated note, New Play Project has given us two complimentary tickets to their Lost & Found show (since we’re a literary club). The show consists of seven short plays on religious themes, and it’s going to be good. (I have to admit that I’m a bit biased since I wrote one of them. ;)) Anyway, the first person to e-mail me for them will get the tickets. More information on New Play Project (a local Mormon theatre company) is available on their website. And now back to our regularly scheduled programming…

This Week’s Reading: Continuing on with The Problem of Pain.

When: Wednesday, April 9nd @ 5:00–6:00 p.m.
Where: Addison’s Walk (4188 JFSB)

As always, feel free to come even if you haven’t read. :)
